We are pleased to present our newest restoration project on S,DÁYES (Pender Island)!
This project was initiated during the ṮEṮÁĆES Climate Action Project and has evolved into a partnership between Tsawout First Nation and PEPÁḴEṈ HÁUTW̱ to do ecosystem restoration and protect the cultural heritage of this important village site.
W̱SÁNEĆ youth groups organized by the W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Council have also brought their good energy to do restoration! We look forward to building the community connections that will grow this project and the healing work at QENENIW̱.
